Description:
A511 Mould-proof Silicone Sealant is a one-component, acetic cure silicone sealant which contains a fungicide. It is formulated as a sanitary sealant for use in hot humid environments. After curing at room temperature, it will form a watertight joint with good elasticity and movement capacity. It can be used in a wide temperature range without primer needed.
Typical Use Range
A511 Mould-proof Silicone Sealant can used on all waterproofing or joint applications where protection against fungal growth is sought, such as
Sinks, baths, showers, kitchen furniture, plumbing fixtures, ceramic tiles, etc.
Restrictions on Use
Prohibited to structural joint.
Cannot be used to all materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents.
Not suggested to be used in totally confined space --- Silicone sealant need the moisture in the air to cure.
Not suggested to be used for continuous immersion in water.
Not suggested to touch the food directly
Cannot touch the reflection coating of mirror, or any other sensitive surfaces which could react with acetic acid.
