Description of MC Silicone RTV2024 for mould making
MC Silicone RTV2024 is the newest member of our popular mold making series of high performance tin-cure silicone rubbers. Silicone RTV2024 is mixed 100A: 5B by weight and cures overnight to a Shore 24 A. Compared to the other Mold making products, Silicone RTV2024 has a lower viscosity Part A, making the rubber easier to mix and easier to vacuum de-gas. The working time for the Silicone RTV2024 is an extra-long 90 minutes for large mold pours or for pouring several molds from a single batch of rubber.
Storage and Precautions of RTV-2 Silicone, Liquid Mold Making Silicone:
Liquid Silicone for Moldmaking, RTV-2 silicone is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about 12 months from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
