We are a manufacturer of RTV-2 silicone rubber for mold making, which is composed of 2 components ( A-part is silicone rubber, B-part is curing agent). Our products are used for multiple applications like lifecasting, candle casting, artificial stone casting. There are different technical properties of different items.
Detailed Description of Product:

1. Long lifetime. The mold we produced can be used repeatedly.
2. Lower shrinkage, low viscosity and good fluidity.

5. Enviromentally friendly. Without releasing any by-product with low molecular weight.
6. Multifunctional. Silicon Rubber can be used to cast a variety of materials including wax, handicraft, gypsum, low melt alloys/metals and urethane, expoxy or polyester resins.
7. It is suitable for all kinds of mold with a variety of sizes, shapes and large sized plaster, cement, ect molds making.
Application:
1. RTV liquid silicone is applicable for reproduction of decoration and handicrafts from polyurethane or epoxy resin, especially used in pouring and pieces mold.
2. Can be used for poly resin crafts, PU crafts, PU resin crafts, gypsum crafts, unsaturated resin crafts, lighting and candles crafts, plastic toy, stationery gifts crafts industry
3. RTV liquid silicone is applicable for large statue Buddha, relievo furniture, furniture decorative materials, statues Buddha, artifacts copied, building decoration materials, large-scale cement mold.
4. Is intend for artificial fossils Factory, Europe component factory, simulation landscapes, animals and plants sculpture, sandstone crafts and so on.
Packaging, Storage and transporation:
1. Packed with vacuumed thick PE bag inside, and iron barrel(tin) outside, packing in 5kg, 20kg, 25kg, 200kg.
2. The product should be stored in a cool dry place, avoid the sun and rain, it must be kept away from acids, alkalis, salts and other compound.
3. The good is not subjest to IMDG except the curing agent.

TECHNICAL GUIDELINES:
1. Stir the liquid silicone (Part A and part B) well before use (except when depending on machine ).
2. This is a 100 Part A to 100 Part B mixing ratio by weight. Weigh the desire amount of part A into a clean mixing container, and then weight the proper amount of part B into the container. Mix the two component together by stirring with a stick. Scrape the container walls and bottom well to insure a thorough mix.
3. Though it is often unnecessary to deair the material due to its low viscosity and our special formulation, it is better to do so to obtain a bubble free rubber. If so, place the container into a vacuum chamber and evacuate the entrapped air from the mixture using a vacuum pump capable of achieving 29 inches of mercury vacuum. The mixture will rise, crest and then collapse in the container. Interruption(bumping) of the vacuum may be necessary to prevent overflowing the container. Keep the mixture under full vacuum for 2-3 minutes.
4. Bleed air slowly into the vacuum chamber. When the chamber is at atmospheric equilibrium, remove the cover plate and take out the container.
5. Pour the deaired material slowly in a steady stream from one end of the mould so that the material flows evenly over the pattern. This should minimize entrapment of air bubbles under the flowing material. A "ready" mold may be poured firstly over the pattern, which will also help reduce the possibility of entrapping air on the pattern and in the cured rubber. A mold release agent may be applied on the pattern first to improve release.
6. Allow the rubber to cure for 2-4 hours at 24C before removing the cured rubber mold from the pattern. Heat acceleration is recommended if necessary.
